Prosthesis

Dental crowns

In case the tooth cannot be saved by filling a crown is used. Crowns can be made of metal-ceramic, or metal free (zirconium crown). In the case of metal-ceramic crowns, porcelain is fired on a thin metal cap.

Fixed bridges

The most widespread method for replacing missing teeth. The replaced teeth are held by crowns put on the adjacent teeth. As for its materials we can choose from the same options as in case of crowns.

Combinated tooth replacements

This solution is used when too many teeth are missing and because of the location of the rest of the teeth the use of fixed replacements are not possible. It consists of a combination of a fixed bridge and a removable prosthesis

Removable replacements

In case of complete toothlessness a removable prosthesis is made. The denture is stable since it is exactly fitted to the mucosa, the gums andor the palate.
