Strengthening of tooth enamel, ingestion of Fluorine by iontophoresis

Fluorine is ingested in the teeth with the help of direct current. The enamel filled with Fluorine is much more resistant the decay-causing effects. The intervention is short, and completely painless. It can be performed from the age of six.

Laser Dentistry

The lasers in dentistry have become the tools of everyday practice. In the last decade, besides soft lasers, the more powerful surgical lasers have also become widespread due to their obvious benefits.

Soft laser therapy

The basic effects of soft lasers are pain relief, reduction of inflammation and biostimulation to make the healing process of wounds faster. The most commonly used ones are the modern Diode lasers. Among oral musocal deiseases the herpes, aphtae, non-healing mucosal ulcers, chronic inflammations, and stomatitis, show the fastest results. The laser therapy results in rapid epithelialization, the healing time is usually reduced to half. It is important that a careful examination and an accurate diagnosis should precede the soft laser therapy, and it can be applied to supplement traditional therapies, or independently.

Soft-tissue laser surgery

Laser surgery provides exceptional benefits due to the excellent hemostatic effect of the laser beam during the operation, and the fast healing of the wound after the surgery with minimal swelling and pain. The surgical laser beam provides a unique technical opportunity in operation and less discomfort to the patient.

Benefits for patients

  •  There are no stiches and scars
  •  Interactions almost without bleeding, controlled healing process
  •  The wound becomes sterile immediately

Hard-tissue treatments

In the last decade researches that deal with preparations of laser beams of different wavelengths, radiation management, and the development of handpieces resulted in appliances that are easy to use in everyday practice, the effective treatment of the dental hard-tissues, and the precise applicability in the scope of activities. The fissure sealant of children’s teeth, the treatment of the sensitivity of cervical area, and the closure of root apex after the root end resection and other areas should be emphasized here.

Laser in root canal therapy

Because of the inflamed dental pulp, the tooth often becomes sensitive, and responds to hot or cold stimuli with pain. In order to save the bad tooth the damaged tissue and bacteria must be removed. The laser light helps the necessary therapy even in the thinnest canals.

Benefits for patients

  • The steady destruction of bacteria in the root canal
  • The treatment time is significantly shortened
  • It is possible to eat and drink right after the treatment

Treatment of periodontal diseases, gingival pockets, gingival recession, and loose teeth
In the last few years laser devices were improved to such an extent, that the gum tissues around loose and atrophied teeth can be treated painlessly without anaesthetic injection. During the treatment a capillary glass fibre is used to narrow gum pockets and destruct pathogenic microbes. As a result the gum sticks tightly to the neck of the tooth, and it is possible to remove pockets and fix the loose teeth.

Benefits for patients

  • Pleasant treatment with little pain
  • Wound healing is better
  • There is no bleeding after the treatment
  • It is possible to eat and drink not long after the treatment
