Analgesia

Conscious sedation

Conscious sedation is performed with the so called nitrous oxide (anesthetic) and a suitable device. The patient inhales a mixture of nitrogen and oxygen through a nasal mask by which his fear disappears, and his sense of time is changed so the treatment feels much shorter. The method can be well applied in case of increased pharyngeal reflex (nausea). The procedure has neither short nor long-term consequences. After the completion of treatment, the patient discharged from any action within a few minutes. After the completion of the treatment, all the effects dissapear in a few minutes.
